Our New Services
A recent cash injection has provided the opportunity to create a new type of counselling service. Online counselling offers a similar face-to-face experience using your computer, laptop or mobile device. You work with one of our qualified counsellors over a number of sessions at an agreed time and work through the causes of your mental health difficulties.
This new service presents clients with the opportunity to log on and use the entire time with your counsellor, without the hassle or additional time required to come to our centre in Erskine or another suitable location. This benefits all our clients, but is especially suitable to people with additional barriers to making that journey. It may be appropriate for Carers who find it difficult to get time away; those with mobility problems or phobias such as Military Veterans and people struggling with additional disadvantages, for example financial hardship.
Our New Eco-Pod
We also have a new training and meeting space that can be used to deliver bespoke training for our students and those from our Institute of Counselling and Glasgow Caledonian University partners. We also run courses on a range of subjects for qualified therapists at different times during the year.
This space is self-contained and can be hired by other organisations or therapists.
