Mindfulness Awareness Course for Pain Management, Illness and Stress

This programme is not about symptoms that indivduals experience but the relationships that it is possible to develop which very clearly reduces the experience of suffering.

During the programme participants will learn five different forms of meditation in order to develop Mindful Awareness.  They will receive a DVD programme of 56 audio lessons and short meditations to be done daily at home.  Each week there will be teaching and group meditation along with disucssion and question answering sessions.

This programme is open to anyone but if you are receiving treatment from a Mental Health Professional it is recommended that a brief discussion is held with them before starting the programme.

This is an 8 week programme (one evening per week) with:-

Nick your facilitator, is trained in two forms of counselling, and has been practising and teaching mindfulness awareness for some years.  This is the fifth time the programme has been offered and participants (as well as his personal clients) have always found it most helpful.
